We’re looking for an experienced Non-Working Construction Site Manager to join a successful multi-disciplined construction company based in Folkestone, to oversee commercial construction projects across Kent and London. This is a hands-on leadership role managing site operations, subcontractors, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance within a growing construction environment.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must have a Full Driving Licence.
SALARY: £160 to £250 per Day
LOCATION: Working on local projects in Folkestone, Kent and managing projects in London (Candidates must live in Kent)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Construction Site Manager to join a successful multi-disciplined construction organisation delivering commercial construction projects. Working across sites in Kent before progressing to London-based developments, the Construction Site Manager will take full responsibility for site management, workforce supervision, subcontractor coordination, quality assurance and health and safety compliance. As a Construction Site Manager you will ensure projects are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and scope of works, maintaining high standards of construction management and risk control throughout.

DUTIES
- Project Supervision: Overseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure works progress safely and efficiently
- Health and Safety Management: Maintaining high health and safety standards and ensuring all documentation is up to date
- Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures across all stages of the build
- Workforce Coordination: Managing directly employed labour and subcontractors on commercial construction projects
- Drawing and Specification Review: Regularly reviewing drawings and scope of works to ensure accurate delivery
- Material and Tool Selection: Selecting appropriate tools, materials and resources to meet project requirements
- Risk Assessment: Assessing and minimising risk across all site activities
- Problem Resolution: Identifying potential issues early and implementing effective solutions
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Valid SMSTS qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in site management within commercial construction
- Experience managing subcontractors and directly employed workforce
- Proven experience of maintaining health and safety compliance on construction sites
- Experience with quality control procedures and site documentation
- Ability to review technical drawings and specifications accurately
- A trade background with experience on the tools would be advantageous
