A well-established, friendly and professional financial advice and planning business is looking for a confident and experienced Financial Services Administrator to support the smooth running of its Yateley office. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in outstanding client service and is happy to get involved in both managing and completing day-to-day workload.

JOB OVERVIEW

This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Services Administrator to join a growing financial advice and planning business that supports clients across the UK. Working with the Operations Manager and wider remote team, you will provide efficient administrative support across client cases, provider communications, client review documentation, online systems, compliance records and general office activity. The role would suit someone with strong financial services administration experience, a professional and friendly approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work in a busy, client-focused environment.

DUTIES

  • Case Processing: Process brokered cases from application through to completion
  • Client and Provider Liaison: Communicate with clients and product providers by telephone and email, route calls appropriately and handle basic and technical client queries where possible
  • Review Documentation: Produce client planning review documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Research Support: Carry out protection and general insurance research as required
  • Systems Administration: Use online systems to enter, obtain and collate information, producing relevant documentation where required
  • Policy Retention: Support the business retention of existing policies
  • Meeting Coordination: Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences and team activities
  • Compliance Records: Maintain registers and client information databases in line with internal compliance requirements
  • Workload Management: Prioritise workload to ensure activities are timely, compliant and completed to agreed performance standards
  • Service Improvement: Contribute positively to service levels and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Office Support: Complete general office duties including scanning, filing and other tasks that support the effective operation of the service

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience within the financial services sector, including administration and processing experience
  • A strong client service ethic
  • Understanding of working with and extracting data from financial services platforms
  • CII exams or an equivalent qualification to A Level standard
  • Friendly and professional attitude with a proactive, can-do approach
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Confident written, verbal and face-to-face communication skills with colleagues, clients and providers
  • Able to commute within a realistic travelling distance of the Yateley office
  • Accurate keyboard and data entry skills
  • Good time management with the ability to prioritise workload and meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
