Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Fabricator / Welder / Sheet Metal Worker / Production Operative with experience in MIG Welding and Metal Fabrication in a Production / Manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will join the Metal Department, mainly working within the fabrication section to manufacture a variety of mild steel components between 1.6mm and 5mm, ensuring high quality and precision. You will work across the manufacturing area, including Final Assembly, to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
Your responsibilities include reading technical drawings, following instructions, and learning new systems as part of your role.

Key Duties
- Use of power tools such as drills, angle grinders, chop saws
- Use of fabrication machinery such as the brake press, sheet metal roller, box pan folder, guillotines, pipe bender
- Preparing materials for fabrication, cutting, tacking, folding & bending
- Preparing parts for powder coating and performing powder coating operations
- Operating to Metal Procedures, Fault Finding, Final Assembly, Manufacturing & Despatch
- Assembly and Customer Service Communication
- Training and self-development within the Metal Department
- Ensuring the department meets ISO:9001:2015 standards
- Resolving technical issues, maintenance, and quality problems
- Liaising with various departments to meet business goals while adhering to health and safety standards
- Utilizing business systems such as People HR, QT9, ISO Systems & Processes
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Experience in a fast-paced Production/Manufacturing environment
- Experience in MIG Welding
- Experience with sheet metal working & fabrication
- Ability to read technical/manufacturing drawings (preferably in SolidWorks)
- Positive attitude, results-driven, and team-oriented
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
