Events Manager who has excellent organisational, time-management, team leadership and communication skills is required to join a friendly team based in Edinburgh and take the lead in planning and executing a diverse range of events. From conferences and product launches to networking events and internal celebrations, you'll be instrumental in bringing the clients brand to life.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Events Manager who will be responsible for the full event lifecycle, from concept development and budget management to on-the-day execution and post-event analysis.
As the Events Manager you'll be a master of logistics, a creative problem-solver, and a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES
Your duties as an Events Manager include:
- Event Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute event plans that align with company objectives and target audiences. This includes brainstorming themes, selecting venues, managing guest lists, and coordinating all logistical details
- Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximising ROI. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and track expenses
- Supplier Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage a network of trusted suppliers, including caterers, venues, AV companies, and marketing agencies
- Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement event marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and website updates
- On-site Management: Oversee all aspects of event execution on the day, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations, analysing feedback and identifying areas for improvement
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and attendees
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as an Events Manager, ideally with a portfolio showcasing a variety of successful events
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong budget management skills and experience negotiating contracts
- Creative flair and a passion for creating memorable experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
