JOB OVERVIEW
Build your property law career in a supportive environment with varied client-facing work across conveyancing and leasing. The Paralegal will manage transactions and maintain strong client contact.
Working closely with colleagues and external parties, the Paralegal will help keep matters moving accurately and on time while contributing to a busy property team.
Structured training, ongoing professional development and supported progression give the Paralegal scope to grow while supporting clients and colleagues effectively.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Paralegal include:
Workload and Deadlines: Manage own workload to meet client deadlines
Client Instructions: Deal promptly with client instructions
Property and Leasing Transactions: Manage property and leasing transactions
Estate Agency and ESPC Matters: Liaise with the estate agent and handle ESPC matters
Client and Third-Party Liaison: Liaise with clients, estate agents and other third parties
File Management: Proactively attend to file management
Team Support: Provide support to other members of the property team
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
Professionally accredited or registered paralegal with a recognised legal professional body, with demonstrable knowledge and experience of Scots law relevant to the role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and manage a caseload effectively
Strong business awareness of deadlines and working under pressure
Excellent attention to detail
DESIRABLE
Previous relevant experience
Experience in a similar role dealing with purchase and sale transactions, title queries across Sasine and Land Registers, and notices of potential liability
