JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Showroom Retail Store Manager to lead a successful retail showroom specialising in interior furnishings including curtains, carpets and flooring. Working in a customer-facing retail environment, the Showroom Retail Store Manager will drive showroom sales, lead a motivated sales team and ensure an outstanding customer experience. The role involves sales leadership, merchandising, marketing initiatives and developing strong customer relationships. As the Showroom Retail Store Manager you will play a key role in growing the business by increasing footfall, promoting products through advertising and social media, and ensuring sales targets are consistently achieved.
DUTIES
- Sales Leadership: Drive showroom revenue by achieving and exceeding sales targets across curtains, carpets and flooring
- Team Management: Lead, motivate and develop a team of sales consultants to maximise performance and customer service
- Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong long-term customer relationships
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow sales through promotions, marketing and local advertising
- Showroom Presentation: Ensure the showroom is visually appealing, well organised and effectively merchandised
- Marketing Activity: Utilise social media, promotions and PR events to attract new customers and increase footfall
- Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, manage targets and implement strategies to improve results
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day showroom operations ensuring smooth and efficient retail processes
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Retail Sales Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, showroom sales or interior furnishings environments
- Sales Leadership: Proven experience managing or supervising a sales team and achieving revenue targets
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of sales performance, business growth and customer acquisition
