JOB OVERVIEW This is a great opportunity to join a growing operation, work outdoors and take ownership of a designated local route. As the Driver / Outdoor Mobile Operative you will use a company vehicle for work use only to travel within a 60-mile radius of Dunmow, emptying dog waste and litter bins in parks and public spaces.
The Driver / Outdoor Mobile Operative will plan the working day effectively, complete manual handling tasks safely and keep the vehicle, tools and equipment clean and functional. Working independently and with a small team, the Driver / Outdoor Mobile Operative will report maintenance issues promptly and follow health and safety procedures.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Driver / Outdoor Mobile Operative include: Travel to Locations: Cover the designated territory to service waste and litter bins
Waste Collection: Empty dog waste and litter bins in parks and public areas
Manual Handling: Carry out physical tasks safely and efficiently
Vehicle Care: Keep the company vehicle clean and complete basic upkeep
Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment clean and functional Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Reporting Issues: Identify and report maintenance or repair needs promptly
