JOB TYPE: Full-Time OR Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday

  • Morning Shifts: 07:00 - 09:00
  • Day Shifts: 09:00 - 15:00 / 16:00

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Cleaner / Housekeeper to join a friendly team supporting the smooth running of holiday accommodation. As a Cleaner / Housekeeper you will carry out housekeeping, cleaning, sanitising and guest preparation duties across holiday homes, ensuring every property is clean, comfortable and presented to high standards before guest arrivals.

The Cleaner / Housekeeper will work independently and as part of a team, following cleaning schedules, health and safety procedures and COSHH guidance while maintaining excellent attention to detail. This role would ideally suit someone with previous experience in housekeeping, accommodation cleaning, hospitality cleaning, domestic cleaning, hotel housekeeping or guest services, although this is not essential.

DUTIES

  • Property Cleaning: carry out full cleaning of holiday home properties including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas
  • Linen Changes: change and replace bed linen and towels as required
  • Hygiene Standards: clean and sanitise high-touch areas in line with hygiene standards
  • Guest Preparation: ensure properties are guest ready within allocated timeframes
  • Property Inspections: check cleanliness and presentation, reporting any maintenance issues or damage promptly
  • Stock Replenishment: replenish toiletries, tea and coffee supplies and cleaning materials where required
  • Safe Working Practices: use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly in line with COSHH guidelines
  • Cleaning Procedures: follow cleaning specifications, checklists and health and safety procedures
  • Waste Management: dispose of waste and recycling correctly
  • Team Support: work independently or as part of a team to meet operational priorities
