As a Document Controller / Site Administrator you will be the central point of contact for document control and site administration, ensuring drawings, specifications, submissions, records and communications are managed accurately. The Document Controller / Site Administrator will support the Site Manager, Project Manager and wider project team, helping maintain efficient workflows, compliance records and high standards of administration. DUTIES Your duties as the Document Controller / Site Administrator include: • Document Control: Manage, maintain, distribute, track and archive project documentation using the company’s document management system • Technical Records: Control the issue, receipt, review and storage of drawings, specifications and technical submissions • Document Registers: Maintain accurate revision histories, document registers, workflows and submission deadlines • Project Administration: Provide administrative support to the Site Manager, Project Manager and wider project team • Meetings and Actions: Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and distribute actions to relevant team members • Site Correspondence: Manage site correspondence, reports, filing systems, weekly reports and monthly reports • Personnel Records: Coordinate inductions and maintain personnel, timesheet, workforce and subcontractor administration records • Compliance Documentation: Maintain health and safety records, training certificates, quality assurance records and compliance documentation ABOUT US McDermotts is a nationwide civil engineering and groundworks company based in Birmingham, supporting some of the largest construction companies across the length and breadth of the UK.
