Successful candidates will need to commit to a training/onboarding period at the head office in Exeter, Devon. Once completed, you'll have the option to work remotely from home or if you prefer, work in a hybrid capacity, from home and the office in Exeter.

JOB OVERVIEW: We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Protection Adviser / Insurance Broker with proven experience giving personal protection advice and supporting clients with insurance and trust planning. As the Protection Adviser / Insurance Broker, you will join a successful, established UK firm that provides all leads from existing mortgage clients, giving you access to a strong pipeline and large case opportunities. Working as the Protection Adviser / Insurance Broker, you will provide tailored protection advice, manage multiple leads, deliver excellent client service and use market-leading systems with full administration support. The role offers remote or hybrid working following an onboarding period at head office in Exeter, Devon, plus a progression to partner programme for ambitious advisers.

DUTIES: Your duties as the Protection Adviser / Insurance Broker include:
- Client Advice: Provide clear, tailored personal protection advice to existing clients
- Lead Management: Manage a regular flow of warm leads from clients proceeding with mortgage applications
- Protection Planning: Identify suitable insurance and protection solutions based on client needs
- Trust Planning: Support clients with appropriate trust arrangements where required
- Pipeline Management: Manage a large mortgage-related pipeline efficiently and professionally
- Diary Management: Plan your own time and diary to maximise client contact and service delivery
- Customer Service: Deliver a high standard of client care throughout the advice process
- Administration Liaison: Work closely with administration support to ensure accurate case progression
- Business Growth: Contribute to the continued development of a successful protection advice service
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL:
- Protection Advice Experience: Proven experience advising clients on personal protection
- Relevant Qualification: Hold an appropriate qualification for giving protection advice
- Financial Services Background: Experience working within insurance, protection, mortgage or financial services
- Pipeline Management: Ability to manage a busy pipeline and multiple leads each day
- Client Focus: Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering positive outcomes
- Organisation Skills: Ability to plan workload, manage time and work independently
- Driving Licence: full UK driving licence
DESIRABLE:
- Wills Experience: Experience writing wills
- Trusts Experience: Experience writing trusts
- Partnership Ambition: Interest in progressing within the business through a partner programme
