SALARY: £13.61 per Hour + Benefits

WORKING HOURS
SHIFT 1: Monday to Friday / 6.00am to 2.00pm
SHIFT 2: Monday to Friday / 2.00pm to 10.00pm
JOB OVERVIEW
A hands-on opportunity is available for an experienced Machine Operator / Production Operative to support a busy manufacturing operation where safety, quality and teamwork matter.
Working closely with the Factory Manager and wider team, the Machine Operator / Production Operative will help keep production running efficiently while maintaining strict hygiene standards.
The Machine Operator / Production Operative will combine machinery operation, packing, line changeovers and routine equipment checks in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES
- Machine Set-Up: Set up machinery ready for production cycles
- Machine Operation: Operate machinery safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Equipment Checks: Inspect machinery for defects or malfunctions
- Line Changeovers: Carry out effective changeovers, including product size changes
- Packing and Handling: Pack materials and carry out heavy lifting safely
- Hygiene and Food Safety: Follow strict hygiene procedures to support food safety standards
- Teamwork: Work effectively with colleagues to support production requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
- Previous machine operating experience
- Able to carry out regular heavy lifting and other physical duties safely
- Excellent personal hygiene
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a team
DESIRABLE
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Factory experience
