LOCATION: Horley, Surrey

WORKING HOURS: 4 On / 4 Off including Days and Nights
PLEASE NOTE: You must a Full Driving License and your Own Vehicle as the site is in a remote location with no access to public transport

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a CCTV Operator / Controller / Control Room Security Officer who has a high attention to detail, the ability to handle various issues in a calm, professional and proactive manner
Working as a CCTV Operator / Controller / Control Room Security Officer you\’ll be crucial in maintaining safety by monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, recording incidents, and managing access control.
This vital role involves operating control room systems, handling calls, and notifying relevant personnel of incidents.
As a CCTV Operator / Controller / Control Room Security Officer you\’ll also be responsible for validating and logging staff/contractor entries to gas sites, responding to emails, and conducting camera/perimeter checks.

DUTIES
Your duties as a CCTV Operator / Controller / Control Room Security Officer include:
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarms
• Keep and maintain suitable and sufficient records of all incidents
• Maintain the security of the CCTV Control and equipment rooms at all times
• Operate and monitor the control room systems
• Take calls and inform/act accordingly
• Notify the police and other authorised persons/organisations of incidents
• Maintain and store correctly records, relevant to the execution of the system
• Log and report faults and incidents
• Monitor access control and validation, intercom systems
• Ensure professional quality of service delivery and compliance with legislative requirements.
• Answer service calls from staff, contractors etc
• Record staff or contractors entering gas sites, validate and record on ARC logbook
• Ensure that staff or contractors have site access for that appropriate site
• Check and respond to emails
• Acknowledge any alarms received and take appropriate action
• Record any new faults found on the system and email appropriate service provider
• Camera and Perimeter checks on sites
• Arm and disarm gas sites once camera and perimeter checks have been complete
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Must hold a Valid SIA Licence

• Customer service and control room experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written English
• IT and computer literate
