This is an exciting opportunity for a Content Executive to join the company in a new office-based role, helping to bring the brand to life online through content that feels authentic, useful and worth paying attention to. As the Content Executive, you will create written, visual and social media content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Reels, email campaigns, website pages, blogs, printed marketing materials and event content. The Content Executive will also support online community engagement by replying to comments and messages, engaging with relevant accounts and helping build relationships with renovation, self-build, home design and interiors communities.
DUTIES
- Create Engaging Content: Write content from scratch and repurpose strong ideas across social media, email campaigns, website pages, blogs, printed materials and event content.
- Manage Social Channels: Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Reels and short-form video, with future opportunities to support Pinterest and TikTok.
- Build Online Communities: Reply to comments and messages, engage with relevant accounts and support conversations with renovation, self-build, home design and interiors audiences.
- Spot Brand Stories: Identify content opportunities around the office, showroom, team, projects, products and everyday customer moments.
- Capture Visual Content: Take photos and short videos when needed, including behind-the-scenes moments, project updates and design-led details.
- Simplify Technical Information: Turn product and technical details into clear, useful and human content that explains why it matters to customers.
- Support Brand Tone: Work with the wider marketing team to maintain tone of voice, brand guidelines, response standards and escalation processes.
- Develop Content Ideas: Bring curiosity, judgement and creative thinking to help shape a new role and build stronger content activity over time.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong writing ability with good judgement and a natural, human tone.
- Able to simplify complicated or technical information into clear, engaging content.
- Confident creating content from scratch across social media, website, email and wider marketing channels.
- Curious, proactive and comfortable asking questions to uncover good stories.
- Able to spot engaging content opportunities in everyday moments.
- Visually aware, design-conscious and interested in how images, video and copy work together.
- Friendly, warm and confident engaging with people online and in person.
- Self-driven, organised and happy to take ownership of a new role.
- Genuine interest in homes, interiors, renovation, design or architecture.
- Experience with Reels, TikTok or other short-form video content.
