JOB OVERVIEW: This is an exciting opportunity for a field based Business Development Manager who enjoys meeting customers, showcasing premium products and building strong commercial relationships. As a Business Development Manager, you will demonstrate high-quality cleaning machines to corporate and end-user clients, identify new opportunities and manage your own CRM pipeline. The Business Development Manager will also support a dealer network across the South East and represent the organisation professionally at relevant events and exhibitions.
DUTIES: Your duties as the Business Development Manager include:
- Product Demonstrations: Demonstrate a range of high-quality cleaning machines to corporate and end-user clients
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across varied commercial sectors
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects and key decision-makers
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage your own pipeline using the CRM system and maintain accurate sales activity records
- Dealer Account Management: Account manage the dealer network across the South East of England
- Negotiation and Closing: Determine customer needs, negotiate deals and work towards positive commercial outcomes
- Revenue Forecasting: Forecast revenue and support business growth by acquiring new customers and expanding market share
- Events and Exhibitions: Represent the organisation professionally at relevant industry events and exhibitions
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous successful sales experience
- Business development, sales and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in the cleaning industry or a related field is preferable, although not essential
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Happy to travel throughout the South East of England
- Experience using CRM software
