Requirements
- Previous experience supporting Active Directory migrations and restructures
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory including domains, forests, trusts, DNS, and replication
- Experience using migration tools (e.g., Quest) for staged migrations and reporting
- Proven experience with Group Policy, OU design, and delegated administration
- Experience in identity management and directory object clean-up and remediation
- Ability to follow structured processes, runbooks, and validation procedures
- Strong troubleshooting skills across authentication and directory services
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and directory synchronisation concepts (desirable)
- Experience supporting privileged access models and security hardening (desirable)
- Knowledge of endpoint migration and domain join processes (desirable)
- Experience contributing to operational handover and support documentation (desirable)
- Familiarity with cloud computing and hybrid IT infrastructure environments (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Assist with Active Directory migrations, consolidations, and restructures
- Configure domain controllers, replication, DNS, and core infrastructure services
- Design and troubleshoot OU structures and Group Policy configurations
- Support pilots, cutovers, and validation activities
- Resolve authentication, directory, and policy-related problems
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams
- Produce build notes, validation evidence, and technical records
- Assist with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) synchronisation and identity management
- Execute and improve structured delivery processes and checklists
- Assist during early life support following project delivery
