SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician / Workshop Technician who enjoys practical problem-solving and wants to develop their skills while working on a varied range of small hire equipment, pipe welding tools and general power tools. The Mechanical Technician / Workshop Technician will inspect, service, maintain and repair equipment, learning to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults while ensuring items are safe and ready for hire. The position could suit someone from an adjacent mechanical, engineering, maintenance or workshop background, or a practically capable candidate with strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools and equipment. With structured in-house and external training available, the Mechanical Technician / Workshop Technician can build technical knowledge while contributing to a busy, safety-focused workshop team.
