We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Driver & Handyperson / Skilled or Semi-Skilled Tradesperson / Kitchen & Bathroom Multi Trade Fitter who has experience working within a construction / maintenance environment or someone with good DIY skills with the ability to use hand and electric tools.
Working generally in a team of 2, you will deliver, construct and deconstruct temporary modular kitchens and bathrooms at client sites throughout the country, primarily based in the South. As a successful candidate, you will join a well-established business that offers full training and support as well as a great working environment.
DUTIES
- Driving to deliver and collect kitchen and bathroom products, in a timely manner
- Construction and decommission of modular bathrooms and kitchens, in a timely manner
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs on product set whilst at the customer's property
- Act as an ambassador for the business at all times when driving a company vehicle and wearing company uniform
- Provide a first-class service
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Full UK driving license is essential
- Excellent customer service
- Previous skilled or semi-skilled trades, construction, maintenance, fitter, installer or handyperson background is extremely desirable
- The company will also consider candidates that are handy with good DIY skills and looking for a job that involves working with your hands. Although, please indicate this in your CV so we can establish your level of DIY abilities
- Work well under pressure and be able to prioritise changing demands
- Knowledge of tachograph rules and regulations (desirable but not essential)
- Physically fit
- Towing trailers (not essential training will be provided)
- Work well in a team with a can-do attitude
- Have a general knowledge of maintenance and problem solving
- Flexibility to work away from home when required
