We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team at ClearVUE for a fully qualified Electrician to install and maintain Energy Management Systems, supporting businesses with carbon reduction, sustainability and energy efficiency across the UK. This job is known as an EMS Installations Electrician within the organisation.
Make a difference by helping businesses reduce carbon emissions and improve sustainability through the safe installation and maintenance of Energy Management Systems. We have an opportunity for an Installation Electrician to work across the UK, carrying out electrical installation, networking, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance on commercial and industrial sites. As an Installation Electrician you will travel regularly and work away on average 3–4 nights per week, receiving an overnight allowance while supporting high-quality, safe and compliant installations. The Installation Electrician will work independently while accessing support when needed, helping improve processes, health and safety standards and overall service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Site Surveys: Survey sites before installation to establish a safe process for adding an Energy Management System and create stock and material lists.
- System Installation: Carry out safe and correct installation of Energy Monitoring Systems, including electrical installation and commissioning.
- Networking and Connectivity: Complete networking tasks to ensure internet connectivity for installed systems.
- Fault Finding: Identify, diagnose and resolve faults across installed systems.
- Maintenance Work: Maintain Energy Management Systems to support safe and reliable operation.
- Administration: Complete circuit lists, schematics, job sheets and work sheets outlining tasks completed.
- Compliance: Ensure installations comply with company operating policies and procedures.
- Health and Safety: Work closely with the Health & Safety Advisor to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and safe installations.
- Process Improvement: Work with the Electrical Manager to identify lessons learned and areas where processes can be streamlined.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified electrician.
- City and Guilds 18th Edition Qualified, Level 3.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experienced in industrial and commercial installations.
- Good level of IT knowledge.
- Confident working independently and accessing support and advice when necessary.
- Able to achieve and exceed work performance targets.
- Able to adhere to health and safety procedures, industry standards and codes of practice.
- DBS check required.

Salary, Location, and Working Hours

- Location: Field-based role covering sites from Newcastle southward; the successful candidate can be based anywhere within the region.

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
