We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator who can provide excellent customer service and account support across two growing sales divisions. Based at the organisation's global headquarters in Birmingham, the Customer Service Administrator will support a dedicated paper manufacturing division that provides a wide range of food packaging products for well-known customers including McDonalds, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.

The Customer Service Administrator role will suit someone organised, commercially aware and confident working under pressure, with good attention to detail and a positive approach to solving customer queries.

DUTIES

  • Sales Order Processing: Accurately process all sales orders in line with required time limits
  • Customer Contact: Contact customers by telephone as directed and within required time limits, ensuring a professional service at all times
  • Inbound Communication: Respond to inbound calls and emails in accordance with company policy
  • Customer Enquiries: Respond to customer enquiries promptly and courteously within agreed time limits
  • Query Resolution: Manage and conclude customer queries to a satisfactory outcome
  • Escalation Support: Escalate customer queries where required
  • Internal Coordination: Communicate with appropriate internal departments to help ensure objectives for individual accounts are met
  • Customer Meetings: Attend meetings or team calls with customers as required
  • Credit Control Support: Assist the credit control supervisor to help ensure payment terms are followed for each account
  • Delivery Coordination: Work with the wider operational team to help ensure deliveries are fulfilled on time and in full
  • Reception Cover: Cover main reception when required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Previous experience in B2B sales administration, account support or a customer service administration role
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Confident communicator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office packages
  • Positive attitude with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Numerate and commercially astute

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge of SAP
