As a MIG TIG Welder Fabricator you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to precise specifications using MIG, TIG and arc welding techniques. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, preparing materials and carrying out fabrication work to high quality standards. The successful MIG TIG Welder Fabricator will work with a variety of tools, welding equipment and heavy steel materials while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and within project deadlines. Previous experience within fabrication, welding and manufacturing environments will be highly beneficial. Your duties as the MIG TIG Welder Fabricator include: Operating Welding Equipment: Joining metal components using MIG, TIG and arc welding techniques Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements Manufacturing and repairing metal structures and components to specification Inspecting Welds: Checking completed welds to ensure structural soundness and quality standards are met Using hand tools and grinding equipment to prepare materials for welding Carrying out routine maintenance and checks on welding machinery and tools Following all relevant health and safety procedures within the workshop environment Completing fabrication and welding tasks within agreed timescales Previous Experience: Proven experience in welding and fabrication within an engineering or manufacturing environment Welding Knowledge: Experience using MIG, TIG and arc welding techniques Fabrication Skills: Ability to operate welding and fabrication machinery safely and effectively Attention To Detail: Ability to produce accurate, high-quality fabrication work Full-Time, Permanent Jobs, Careers and Vacancies.
