This is an external field-based sales role focused on business development, account management and B2B relationship building across South West England and Wales region within the construction and fenestration sector.
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a B2B Area Sales Manager / Regional Business Development Manager covering South West England and Wales. This role is well suited to a commercially driven sales professional with strong knowledge of the construction and fenestration markets.
As a B2B Area Sales Manager / Regional Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing relationships with existing B2B customers, including window and door fabricators. You will take a consultative approach, supporting customers to enhance their product offering and maximise production capacity.
The B2B Area Sales Manager / Regional Business Development Manager will work closely with internal commercial and trade sales teams to deliver a joined-up sales strategy across the region. You will confidently identify growth opportunities, present tailored sales pitches and contribute directly to regional sales performance and revenue growth.
DUTIES
- Business Development: Identifying and securing new B2B sales opportunities within the assigned territory
- Account Management: Managing and developing long-term relationships with existing customers
- Sales Strategy: Delivering a customer-centric and commercially effective sales approach across the region
- Product Promotion: Supporting customers to enhance their product range and increase sales volumes
- Market Research: Identifying new market opportunities aligned with growth objectives
- Sales Presentations: Confidently delivering tailored sales pitches and proposals
- Internal Collaboration: Working closely with commercial and trade sales teams to ensure a joined-up approach
- Target Achievement: Consistently achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- Previous experience in a B2B sales or field sales role
- Knowledge of the construction market within South West England and Wales
- Proven experience of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
- Commercial awareness and a results-driven approach
Desirable
- Experience within the fenestration, window or door manufacturing sector
- Previous dealings with fabricators, contractors, installers or architects
- An established network of industry contacts within the region
- The ability to quickly assimilate technical product knowledge
