We are seeking a B2B Business Development Area Sales Manager who can prospect, develop new business opportunities within the construction industry, and negotiate deals at a high level to join an innovative, global brand.

Job Overview

This role involves working closely with customers, fabricators, and other industry professionals to deliver a customer-centric experience, enhance product ranges, and increase sales volume. You will generate new business across the South East, collaborating with sales teams to ensure a holistic sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with fabricators, installers, trade counters, architects, specifiers, and construction contractors.
  • Understand customer needs, provide accurate information, and demonstrate product benefits.
  • Monitor market trends and implement sales strategies accordingly.
  • Track customer interactions and forecast accurately.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and report progress.

Candidate Requirements

  • Knowledge of the construction market in South East England and industry contacts.
  • Ability to learn about company products and demonstrate commercial acumen.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Articulate, numerate, and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Confident in delivering sales pitches.
  • Experience in the fenestration market is preferred.
  • Previous dealings with fabricators, contractors, and architects are beneficial.
