We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Solicitor to join an established and expanding legal team delivering high-quality company and commercial legal advice. As a Solicitor you will manage a varied caseload of non-contentious matters, supporting businesses with commercial contracts, corporate governance and transactional work. You will work closely with clients, building trusted relationships and providing practical legal solutions. Working as a Solicitor within the firm you will get the chance to develop expertise across company law, commercial contracts and employment advisory matters, within a supportive and collaborative office-based environment.
DUTIES
- Providing Legal Advice: Advising clients on company and commercial law matters
- Drafting Documentation: Preparing and reviewing commercial contracts and legal agreements
- Corporate Governance Support: Advising on governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Transaction Assistance: Supporting business transactions and corporate matters
- Employment Law Advice: Advising employers on contracts, policies and general HR matters
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Case Management: Managing files efficiently and independently
- Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues as part of a close-knit legal team
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- ESSENTIAL
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
- Previous experience in company and commercial law (non-contentious)
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- DESIRABLE
- Experience advising employers on employment law matters
- Exposure to HR-related legal advice and policies
