This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Senior to join an established and growing accountancy business based in south Manchester. The role sits within a supportive Accounts team and offers hybrid working following completion of training. The business works closely with a wide range of limited company clients, providing a broad range of accounting, tax and advisory services. This role will give the successful candidate excellent exposure to both accounts and client management, while working alongside an experienced team and developing their technical knowledge. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and supporting them across their day-to-day accounting requirements. This will include the preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts, quarterly VAT returns and supporting clients with areas such as tax, expenses, dividends and payroll. You will also build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they understand their financial responsibilities and key HMRC deadlines. The role would suit someone with previous experience in an accountancy practice who enjoys working directly with clients and is looking to develop their career within a progressive environment. Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or Sage would be beneficial, alongside good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
