Supply Chain Coordinator / All Levels of Experience Considered
Build your supply chain career with a food and drink consultancy established in 2010, helping clients improve performance across commercial, supply chain and operations. Direct supply chain experience is welcome but not essential: strong transferable skills, intermediate Excel and strong numeracy are key, with training provided.

SALARY: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum FTE (depending on experience) + Benefits
LOCATION: Beamsley, North Yorkshire (The role will be predominantly office-based. Once fully trained, there will be flexibility to work from home for up to 50% of the time)
Due to the location of the office, you’ll need to drive and have your own vehicle
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent (Part-Time Hours (21 hours minimum per week) will be considered for the right candidate)
JOB OVERVIEW
This is a varied opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to build broad exposure across stock, forecasting, logistics and retailer administration while supporting several client accounts.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will work closely with supply chain and operations consultants, the wider business team, suppliers, retailers and logistics partners in a fast-moving, supportive environment.
With training and development available, the Supply Chain Coordinator can grow capability while helping solve practical day-to-day supply chain challenges.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Supply Chain Coordinator include:
- Stock and Forecasting Data: Provide data to support stock management and forecasting
- Transport and 3PL Bookings: Arrange transport and third-party logistics bookings through online portals, email and telephone
- Purchase Order Administration: Manage administration for purchase orders placed with suppliers
- Retailer Administration: Set up new product lines and promotions on retailer portals and complete related administration
- Financial Processing Support: Provide data and information to support financial processing by the accounts team
- Supply Chain Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and help resolve day-to-day supply chain challenges
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts by email and telephone
- Ability to prioritise several tasks and work confidently in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Practical, solution-focused approach with the ability to collaborate and take ownership independently
- Strong transferable administrative, analytical, coordination or operational skills, with the ability and willingness to learn supply chain processes
DESIRABLE
- Experience or knowledge of retail supply chain operations or administration, on either the retailer or supplier side
