LOCATION: Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England (WA16)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

DUTIES

Your duties as the IT Support Technician include:

  • Colleague IT Support: Help colleagues with everyday IT problems
  • Device Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices
  • Windows and Microsoft 365 Support: Support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint
  • On-Site Issue Resolution: Move around the site to resolve IT issues
  • Technology Enablement: Help people get more from the technology they use
  • IT Improvements: Get involved in IT improvements and new technology
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the wider IT team to improve support and outcomes

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

You don’t need to know everything IT. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude who enjoys technology and wants to develop.

Ideally, candidates will be:

  • Friendly, approachable and happy helping people
  • Curious and good at figuring out problems
  • Comfortable with computers, hardware and Microsoft 365
  • Able to explain technology without lots of jargon
  • Organised and able to keep calm when things get busy
  • Keen to learn, get involved and work as part of a team
