Chef de partie required for a renowned British Chef and Culinary OG/Wizard. This is a super rare opportunity to join a Hospitality Heavy Weight, the training and career progression will be world-class.

The Restaurant: The restaurant serves British favourites and comfort food classics, perfect for sharing with family and friends. With an emphasis on where food comes from and how it is grown, the restaurant is dedicated to using UK-based suppliers and local producers; the ethos is simple: use the very best seasonal and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The restaurant works with British suppliers and farmers that are as passionate about growing as the chefs are about cooking.

The essential skills you will need to be our Kitchen Chef de Partie:

  • NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years at CDP level/ Hot Kitchen at CDP level
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Passion and enthusiasm for food
  • Good Team Player
  • Basic Health & Hygiene Certificate

We would like our Chef de partie to be able to think on their feet and work in an organised and logical manner in a busy kitchen environment, cope under pressure, with a positive can-do attitude and excellent knowledge of food to help achieve our very high standards.

The role: Typical rota pattern – anywhere between 45 – 50 hours with a mix of 2 doubles and straights also weekends.

Size of brigade: We have 2 on the pastry to cover each other, a breakfast chef covers some lunchtime shifts as well as breakfast, Sous chef & head chef, 4 CDP covers peak service. Lunch is between 30-50, Dinner between 30-100, then Brunch is around 150-200.
