Our client provides an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be within our client's Distribution and Connections division. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP’s) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure. Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers, carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for someone to take charge of all SHEQ aspects, ensuring compliance with company, client, and legislative conditions. You’ll build and retain a skilled team, develop and deliver the Contract SHEQ Plan, and drive continual improvement. We’d want someone to align with our vision and values, manage monthly reporting, and monitor SHEQ standards. You’ll present performance data at meetings, propose improvements, and maintain competence processes. As you’d expect with this role, you will lead incident investigations, support NERS delivery, and collaborate with the Central SHEQ team. You’ll travel to sites as and when needed, including overnight stays, so you’ll have to have a full UK driver’s licence for this role.
