Rate: £30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum

AWC Staff Services are looking for a Permanent Panel Wireman to work for our client within the Security / Access Control Systems at their pre-build workshop in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You must have proven experience in electrical / electronic background in panel wiring, experience in following schematic drawings and experience in factory acceptance testing to apply for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting defects, snags and complaints to the Pre-build Supervisor.
  • Reporting Health & safety defects / incidents / accidents and near miss situations to the Pre-build Supervisor.
  • Promoting good practice of material sustainability (Reuse and/or Recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs.
  • Liaising with Client's representatives (as required).
  • Reporting to the Pre-Build Supervisor all defective materials and substandard quality/workmanship standards that do not meet the works specification/s.

Candidates should be able to provide their own, basic hand tools.
