Roles and Responsibilities:
- 4 x water operatives (including grab driver and mate for reinstatement, capable of welding pipe connections)
- 1 x working supervisor
- 1 x support driver
Plant:
- 1.5 T excavator for excavating pit at either end of the slip lining sections and also excavating service transfers (generally no deeper than 1.5 m). Grab may also be required.
- Pushing machine may be required to push/pull pipe insertion.
- Hotbox on larger schemes for reinstatement but you may want to manually lay the top and roll on this scheme.
Tools:
- General tools, welding machine / winch etc.
- Barriers, signage, pipe and fittings to be provided by the client.
- Pipe to be collected from Wigan depot, fittings to be collected from Worsley depot (pre palleted up as per fittings list on drawings).
