AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Groundworker for Duct Installation & Civils work with their client. The role requires experienced operatives for cable installation.
Responsibilities
- Install short lengths circa 25m of DC & LV cables by hand, in collaboration with jointers and electrical engineers.
- Carry out duct installation and civils works as part of the project.
- Be physically able to undertake these works and willing to be flexible to carry out other site duties if cable installation works are not available.
Qualifications & Certifications
- CSCS card (minimum requirement).
- EUSR and SHEA Power desirable.
- National Grid Person and CPCS plant operator accreditation desirable.
- Additional CPCS plant qualifications would be beneficial.
Start: 12th January 2026
Duration: 5 Months
Rate: 28.50 Per Hour
