This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Venue Manager to work at our beautiful woodland retreat, Sandy Balls Holiday Village.

Who are we?

Sandy Balls Holiday Village is a tranquil escape with more trees than you can shake a stick at. We feature resident alpacas, a bush-craft school, forest laser tag, and activities like cycling and swimming. Our Retreat spa and cozy, cottage-style lodges and caravans provide a relaxing environment for our guests.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading by example, you’ll motivate a team of F&B assistants to deliver excellent service in our busy bar and restaurant. Responsibilities include:

  • Serving customers, clearing tables, resolving issues, and leading your team
  • Managing rotas to ensure adequate coverage
  • Sharing best practices and upselling effectively
  • Controlling margins by managing food stock, minimizing wastage, and overseeing costs
  • Handling customer complaints and managing team performance
  • Building a motivated team that takes pride in their service, even during busy times

Note: Holidays may be during peak times, including bank holidays and weekends.
