Who we are:
We are a very busy pub in the New Forest that prides itself on delivering great food quickly. We drive high volume, especially in peak summer months, while maintaining a positive attitude. We serve a classic menu with twists to reflect the tastes of all our guests.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage and inspire the kitchen team to produce meals to high standards.
- Attain and implement standards.
- Ensure consistency of quality of dishes.
- Manage stock - ordering, specifications, and stock takes.
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in training and recruitment.
- Write rotas and onboard new staff.
- Implement legislative measures and administration for Food Hygiene and licensing.
You will lead from the front, setting standards for your team and motivating, coaching, and supporting them.
One more thing: holidays happen at holiday times, so you'll need to work on bank holidays, evenings, and weekends.
