What we need, in a nutshell:

You’ll be a key player in delivering the Operational People Strategy across the South, supporting the Regional People Manager and park teams to bring our People initiatives to life. Living and breathing our brand values, you’ll help shape a culture of recognition, engagement, and development. You’ll provide hands-on support across all areas of People Operations, from employee relations and recruitment to training and performance management, ensuring our teams feel supported, engaged, and set up for success.

What you’ll be doing:

Driving culture, championing careers, and supporting our parks —this role puts you at the heart of it all. You’ll take the lead on employee relations case management, support recruitment across parks, and ensure training and engagement initiatives land effectively. From compliance to talent development, you’ll be shaping an environment where people thrive and careers grow.

Key responsibilities:

  • People Strategy & Recruitment : Work with the Regional People Manager to bring the people strategy to life, ensuring that parks are sufficiently resourced and that seasonal recruitment is delivered in line with the overall annual recruitment plan.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance : Lead on employee relations case management, ensuring we’re legally compliant and supporting managers to handle ER matters confidently.
  • Talent Development & Succession Planning : Track and develop, ensuring key roles are resourced and that teams feel invested in.
  • Training & Engagement : Drive training compliance, supporting Heads of Department in creating a culture of continuous learning and supporting our Apprenticeship programme.
  • Culture & Recognition : Champion our company values, creating an environment where people feel recognised, engaged, and motivated.
  • Cost & Efficiency : Help regional leadership teams understand and manage labour costs, improving retention and reducing unnecessary attrition.
  • Health & Safety : Ensure all teams are trained and compliant with our health and safety policies, keeping colleagues and guests safe.
  • ENPS : Drive our eNPS plans and ensure delivery of the Hear our Heroes response rate.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need:

  • Solid understanding of HR best practice and UK employment law.
  • Experience in managing complex ER case load, delivering training and volume and senior level recruitment.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A passion for creating great workplaces where people feel valued and supported.
  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel up to 3 days a week into Hemel office and occasional Park visits.
