Newquay Bay Resort, the perfect location for seaside adventures in Cornwall, mixed with the tranquillity of a country getaway. This peaceful valley setting on the breath-taking North Coast, experience the brisk breeze of open air, heavenly seafood restaurants, and next level water sports!
We are looking for a high calibre Food & Beverage Manager that can create an environment where a team thrive, and our guests can sit back and take away memories that will last a lifetime; whilst still having an analytical mind that can process KPI's and drive the right behaviour through standards and leading the way.
You will need to develop an in-depth understanding of the commercial aspects of all our operational businesses on the park, so you will need to:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Manage, lead, train and motivate a team to deliver delight.
- Oversee the smooth running of the bar and restaurant and Barn, the preparation for service, as well as overseeing service and supervising the after-service duties.
- Supervising the bingo experience.
- Maximise sales whilst driving profitable growth with care and flair!
- Carry out regular stock takes and order, as necessary.
- Handle deliveries and ensure health and safety regulations are always enforced.
- Oversee and contribute to any project work as part of the upcoming development.
- The preparation and management of budgets for resources on the park, to deliver annual profit targets in food and beverage, arcade and gaming.
- Identifying and maximising business opportunities.
- Monitoring and maintaining cost controls to create efficiencies across the business, including wage rostering.
- Managing the development, coaching and performance of the Food & Beverage and Retail teams, promoting the Holiday Heroes culture that makes our holiday park a great place to work.
- Helping to deliver the highest level of guest experience to all our guests.
- Being a professional interface with the owners and stakeholders of the business and with external suppliers and other important contacts.
