What we need in a nutshell: We're looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Kitchen Manager to join the management team in our external food and beverage operation at Tattershall Lakes Country Park, one of Lincolnshire's top holiday destinations.

About the role: We're looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager who can deliver delight to our holiday resort guests. You will be working in a 60ft Container unit serving up street food from Filthy Fries, Dirty Dogs to delicious, sweet treats. Being available to work evenings and weekends including bank holidays are also essential. Outdoor Catering is the flavour and fun behind unforgettable holidays—fast-paced, ever-changing, and full of energy. We have our brand new 60ft shipping container hub bringing together our top outlets in one epic destination! Serving up Filthy Fries, Dirty Dogs, and more along with Sweet Treats. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong hospitality and kitchen management experience who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and enjoys leading by example on the floor.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading, training, and motivating a team to deliver delight.
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the venue, the preparation for service, as well as overseeing service and supervising the after-service duties.
  • Working alongside the team in a fast paced, high-volume venue with a constant eye on delivering world class service.
  • Driving revenue through service and sales whilst having an eye on profitable growth, delivered with care and flair.
  • Controlling margin through careful stock management and stock reconciliation through weekly stocktakes.
  • Supporting and standing in for the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and handling guest feedback professionally.

Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need:

  • Have previous management experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
  • Show evidence of your superb people management skills.
  • Have an eye for detail, a head for business and a mindset for innovation.
  • Have knowledge and experience of catering and its many challenges.
  • Have energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • A natural leader with a hands‐on attitude.
  • Have organisational skills and be able to work under pressure.

Nice to have but not essential:

  • Know your profit and loss from your balance sheet and be able to control costs and grow profit.
  • Level 2 in Food safety.
  • Personal licence.
  • Experience of working in the holiday sector.
