Away Resorts are shaking up the industry and setting the new standards for what to expect from a UK Holiday Park. With 27 parks and resorts around the UK now, our Flagship Resort Tattershall Lakes is jaw dropping not only in its size but also what it offers our Guests.
We’re looking for qualified lifeguards and are searching for individuals to demonstrate just the right mix of welcoming our guests in a positive, friendly manner and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety procedures necessary in the pool environment.
We have a glistening indoor swimming pool accompanied with a sauna and steam room. An indoor children’s splash area complete with a range of exciting water features, jets and a slide. Our refreshing outdoor swimming pools are the place to be on a warm summer’s day, situated next to our largest lake, furnished with sun loungers and equipped with a cascading splash pad. We run a variety of pool related activities both in and outdoors, to offer our guests a range of opportunities to enjoy and explore our magnificent facilities.

What you’ll be doing:
- As a member of the Sport and Leisure team, you will be a friendly, naturally helpful and vigilant team member who automatically seeks out opportunities to ensure the guests' requirements are met.
- You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards within the pool environments and ensure that all company and legal requirements are always met.
- As a lifeguard at Tattershall Lakes, you will aid in the completion of daily health and safety checks to ensure our facilities are always safe and hygienic for our guests.
- You will assist with the operation of a range of water-based activities within the pool environment.
- As a lifeguard for Away Resorts, you will make a great lasting impression on our guests, impressing them with your professionalism, conscientiousness, and great guest care skills.
Specific requirements of successful candidate:
- Communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment.
- A friendly, calm and approachable nature with the ability to act quickly and effectively.
- Be able to swim 50m in no more than 60 seconds.
- Be able to swim 100m continuously on front and 100m continuously on back.
- Be able to surface dive to the floor of the pool and be able to climb out of the pool unaided.
- All candidates must complete a full lifeguard competency test before joining the team.
Nice to have but not essential:
- First Aid Qualification.
