What we need in a nutshell
Lead the development of Away Resorts’ digital commercial strategy to build brand awareness, customer consideration and showcase our unique proposition and resort experiences. You’ll champion digital innovation across every online and offline touchpoint — transforming how we attract, convert and retain guests and owners. By optimising our website, app and digital journey, you’ll drive bookings, sales, guest satisfaction and margin while elevating key metrics such as conversion, CSAT, NPS, and Customer Lifetime Value.

What you’ll be doing
- End-to-end digital strategy, customer journey and roadmap
- Web & app trading and merchandising to deliver sales, margin, NPS and lifetime value
- Web & app CX / UX capability and optimisation
- Content and SEO performance
- Testing and CRO programme
- Personalisation roadmap across customer, location, format and product
- Product ownership for web, app and supporting platforms
- Customer and commercial insight, including Voice of Customer and trading dashboards
- Web & app sales performance, investment (opex/capex) and programme governance
- Alignment of digital channels with digital marketing activity PPC, social, display, affiliates and partnerships
- Communicate insights and results that influence senior leaders and shape future business decisions

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
- Extensive experience in digital strategy development
- Strong eCommerce experience across websites and apps
- Proven capability in SEO
- Experience leading CRO and testing programmes
- Expertise in CX, UX and end-to-end journey design
- Product ownership experience
- Experience in web merchandising and digital trading
- Performance marketing exposure PPC, social, affiliates, with final scope to be confirmed
- Ability to set strategic direction, build the brand proposition and connect channels and touchpoints across the customer journey to deliver commercial outcomes
- Strong team leadership and cross-functional matrix influence, with the ability to build relationships and drive impact
- Customer insight and data-driven approach to decision-making
- Experience across B2C and B2B service environments, ideally within leisure, hospitality, transport or holiday sector
- Experience scaling small or emerging digital and eCommerce teams
