Job Type: Permanent- Hybrid (3 days per week working in our Hemel office)

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours full time

Salary: £27,877.98 per annum

What we need in a nutshell: Based from our Central Support Office in Hemel Hempstead we are looking for a People Coordinator that will sit as part of the Regional People Operations team. This role will assist both the People Manager and People Partner in delivering the People Plan. This role is perfect for lovers of administrative duties but you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide remit of HR operational functions and be mentored to grow your career. You will be the first point of call for all queries, providing direct support to our park operations teams on people related matters.

What you’ll be doing: You’ll be a key point of contact for HR, ensuring our People Strategy is implemented and the Away Resorts culture thrives. This includes:

  • Dealing with the day-to-day HR administrative tasks and enquiries and working closely with the People Manager and People Partner
  • Supporting the recruitment process, placing job adverts, shortlisting, through to arranging interviews and carrying out background checks
  • Leading the new starter process through coordinating paperwork, welcome packs and inductions
  • Coordinate the reporting of mandatory training modules
  • Providing support to all departments whilst helping to drive our vision and values
  • Supporting on exciting projects that further our people proposition
  • Note taking for a variety of ER cases.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need: We are looking for someone ready to build a career in HR, who can demonstrate the following:
