Who we are? We’re a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday at our award-winning UK resorts. St. Ives Bay Beach Resort has private access to three miles of sandy beach, spectacular sea views, luxury accommodation and excellent facilities, making it one of the best holiday parks in Cornwall and a great place to work.
What we need in a nutshell: We are looking for a Linen Porter to support our Accommodation Team to ensure they have everything they need from the linen store.
The nitty gritty of what you will be doing: As a member of our Accommodation Team, you will report to our Accommodation Manager and provide linen and equipment to all of the accommodation team. This role includes:
- You will prepare cages of linen to facilitate the delivery of the cages of clean linen and collection of the dirty linen.
- You will take ownership of deliveries of linen from our supplier and on delivery check all linen is delivered and is in the condition it should be.
- You will also support with the external cleanliness of the Accommodation ensuring everything is cobweb free and pristine.
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need: We’ll provide training, but you must:
- Have a valid UK driving licence.
- Be comfortable working to deadlines as part of a very busy Team.
- Real attention to detail with the highest of standards.
- Adaptable, conscientious and very organised.
- A sense of urgency.
