Who we are?
Sandy Balls Holiday Village is a world away from your day to day, with more trees than you can… well, shake a stick at. We have resident alpacas, a bush-craft school and forest laser tag, along with the usual holiday heroes of cycling and swimming. But New Forest holidays are also about tranquillity, which is why our Retreat spa and cosy, cottage‑style lodges and caravans are here to help our guests unwind. Part of the Away Resorts family, with 27 self‑catered parks which all have their unique appeal!
What you will be doing
You will be sweeping and washing down accommodation decking and outer surrounding areas for guest accommodation to our high standards. Always with the aim of making your contribution to someone’s holiday count every bit as much as the food they eat and the fun they have. And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person. One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.
We’ll provide training, but you must:
- Have an awareness of what clean means – which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well‑done
- Have a friendly and helpful attitude - delightful when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
- Be open to learning – experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn
- Have a valid full driving licence (A must)
