Responsibilities
- Lead by example and motivate a team of F&B assistants to deliver excellent service in the bar and restaurant.
- Serve customers, clear tables, solve problems, and manage the shift.
- Manage rotas to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Identify and share best practice, including upselling techniques.
- Help control margins by working with FOH and kitchen teams to manage food stock, minimise wastage, and keep costs sensible.
- Handle customer complaints and manage team performance.
- Build a motivated team that takes pride in customer delight, especially during peak periods.
- Work bank holidays and weekends as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced F&B environment.
- Experience driving revenue – training provided.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and composure in difficult situations.
- Evidence of delivering excellence in customer service.
- Preferably a Level 2 hygiene certificate, though training can be provided on site.
- Experience in a holiday park setting is an asset but not required.
