What we need in a nutshell

We need someone who understands that food and drink are central to a happy holiday. Someone who can look after our guests’ every whim when they eat, drink and relax in our bars and restaurants.

Who are we?

We are a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. At our amazing UK resorts we pull out all the stops and add the bells and whistles to give our guests the holiday of a lifetime.

What you’ll be doing

We’re not your average holiday company. Our guests come to our UK resorts to experience a world away from the day-to-day and our job is to surprise and delight them at every turn. This includes:

  • Meeting and greeting guests with a friendly welcome
  • Taking food orders and making sure everyone gets what they asked for
  • Serving behind the bar and delivering excellent table service
  • Keeping your area clean, tidy and well-stocked
  • Ensuring areas are sanitised in line with protocols
  • Generally making sure everybody is having a great time

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person. One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

If you can demonstrate the following, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Have customer service experience and skills
  • Relish the fast pace of a busy bar or restaurant
  • Be someone who does things without needing to be asked
  • Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are
  • Have experience of working in a team
  • MUST BE 18+ to serve drinks

It’s about your values too. We have a can-do, fun loving, people orientated ethos here at Away Resorts, which is captured by our holiday heroes’ mantra of Attentive Amazing Lovers.

What we can offer you

This is an exciting role as part of our F&B team, and we look after you with a great range of benefits, including:

  • Competitive Pension
  • Up to 50% discounts on Away Resorts holidays for you & your family & friends across all our parks.
  • On Park Discounts on food & drink
  • Free use of the indoor swimming pool
  • Discounts on water sports
  • Awards and Recognition
  • Team Events

Our promise to you

Holiday Heroes come with all sorts of different super-powers, and we welcome them all! We embrace diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities. We love that everyone comes from different backgrounds, allowing us to grow and inspire each other. We’ll never accept any form of discrimination and we’ll forever strive, not just for our product to be unique, but our people too. In short, we want to bring your whole self to work!
