We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead one of the most exciting hospitality operations in the area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their knowledge, experience and ideas to manage all aspects of revenue generation and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver delight
- Oversee the smooth running of the bar and restaurant, the preparation for service, as well as supervising the after-service duties
- Maximise sales whilst driving profitable growth with care and flair
- Carry out regular stock takes and orders, as necessary
- Handle deliveries and ensure health and safety regulations are always enforced
- Prepare and manage budgets for resources on the park, to deliver annual profit targets in food and beverage, arcade and vending
- Identify and maximise business opportunities
- Monitor and maintain cost controls to create efficiencies across the business
- Manage the development, coaching and performance of the Food & Beverage and Retail teams, promoting the Holiday Heroes culture that makes our holiday park a great place to work
- Help deliver the highest level of guest experience to all guests and owners
- Develop close working relationships with other managers on the park and other areas of the business, gaining an understanding of their side of the business and how you can help them with commercial information
- One more thing: holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.
Skills, experience and qualities
- Previous management experience in an F&B environment
- Excellent knowledge of industry trends
- Eye for detail, a head for business and a mindset for innovation
- Proficiency in profit and loss management, able to control costs and grow profit
- Knowledge and experience of catering and its many challenges
- Energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
