Salary: £12.71

Job type: Seasonal

About the role

We are looking for bar and waiting team to join us in one of our restaurants at Tattershall Lakes. We have three different styles of full-service restaurant our guests can go to with choices from pub classics, Mediterranean and Gastro pub. Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.

The Propeller Bar and Restaurant is a stylish, full-service à la carte dining experience that brings a vibrant Mediterranean flair to the heart of the resort. From hand-stretched pizzas and fresh pastas to succulent steaks, every dish is crafted with passion and flair—perfect for guests craving something a little more special. Open for lunch and dinner with bookings recommended, Propeller offers an elevated and relaxed atmosphere, complete with stunning lakeside views that make every shift feel like a getaway. Whether you’re serving up flavour or working behind the scenes, it’s a sleek, social, and fast-paced environment where great food and good vibes go hand in hand.

Tattershall Park Pub is a vibrant, welcoming venue open to guests, holiday homeowners, and the public alike. With a fresh, in-house-made gastro pub menu served for both lunch and dinner, it’s the perfect blend of classic charm and modern flair. The beautifully designed interior and stunning garden area create a warm, lively atmosphere—and as a full-service restaurant, it’s an exciting place to work for anyone who loves great food, great people, and a buzzing pub vibe.

What you will be doing

  • Meeting and greeting guests with a friendly welcome
  • Serving at the table while managing other tables within a section
  • Serving behind the bar
  • Taking orders and ensuring that the guest has a brilliant experience
  • Keeping your area clean, tidy, and well-stocked
  • Generally making sure everybody is having a great time

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you are happy to help even when it is ‘not your job,’ you are our sort of person.

Skills, experience, and qualities you will need

We have high standards! We will train you up, but it would be nice if you:

  • Have customer service experience and skills
  • Relish the fast pace of a busy restaurant
  • Be someone who does things without needing to be asked
  • Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are
  • Have experience of working in a team

It’s about your values too. We have a can-do, fun loving, people centred ethos here at Away Resorts, which is captured by our holiday heroes’ mantra of Attentive Amazing Lovers – if that’s fired up your curiosity, have a read about it here and decide if it describes you.

Nice to have but not essential

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we will not hold it against you if you don’t):

  • Experience of working in a bar, restaurant, or pub
  • Waiting experience in a restaurant
  • Experience of working in the holiday sector

What we can offer you

Enjoy some great benefits, including:

  • Training & development
  • Personalised uniform
  • Regular incentives and rewards
  • Discounted holidays across all our parks
