What we need, in a nutshell:
We're looking for a proactive and people-focused People Coordinator to join our Central Support team. This could be an exciting first step in your HR career, where you'll play a key part in supporting colleagues and managers across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with the Central People Partner and wider People Operations team, you'll help bring our values and culture to life, ensuring our people feel supported, engaged, and empowered to do their best work every day.

What you'll be doing:
- Providing day-to-day People admin and support across the business.
- Providing support to the Talent Attraction Manager with recruitment and onboarding activities, from advertising vacancies and coordinating interviews to preparing contracts, completing compliance checks, and welcoming new starters.
- Providing proactive diary management and administrative support to the People Leadership Team, coordinating meetings, priorities, travel, and key People activities.
- Working closely with the Central People Partner to deliver the People Plan and support a range of People initiatives and projects.
- Coordinating mandatory training and supporting learning and development activities to ensure colleagues have the tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Supporting employee relations processes, including preparing documentation, taking meeting notes, and ensuring timely follow-up actions.
- Being a friendly first port of call for managers and colleagues with People queries, signposting to the right policies, processes and people.
- Maintaining accurate People records, HR systems, and reporting, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and company policies.
- Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives that bring our values and culture to life.
- Building good working relationships across the business and getting stuck into People projects when necessary.
Skills, experience and qualities you'll need:
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new systems and technology.
- A great communicator who can build positive relationships and adapt their style to different audiences.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and always willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
- Professional, approachable, and passionate about creating a great colleague experience.
- A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience in hospitality, leisure, retail, or another people-focused environment is advantageous.
- An interest in developing a career in People, with CIPD study or aspirations viewed positively.
- It's the icing on the cake, but not essential if you have experience in the leisure and hospitality sector.
