What we need in a nutshell
We are looking for dynamic, determined, enthusiastic people who thrive in providing memorable guest experiences and want to be part of developing the Leisure team in supervising, controlling and ensuring the safety of customers at all times in the centre, but in particular the swimming pool environment and to provide the highest standard of customer service to all users of the centre.
As our Lifeguard Team Leader, you’ll:
- Lead and motivate a team of lifeguards.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Oversee pool operations, water testing, and plant room procedures.
- Manage rotas, training, and team development.
- Handle bookings, cashing up, and compliance with health & safety.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have experience leading a team—ideally in a leisure, hospitality, or lifeguard setting.
- Are confident, calm under pressure, and great with people.
- Are passionate about safety and guest satisfaction.
Bonus points if you have:
- A valid NPLQ (or willingness to train).
- Pool Plant Operator or First Aid at Work certification.
- Experience with COSHH, backwashing, or fire warden duties.
