What we need in a nutshell:
We want our guests to enjoy time at the pool and gym, and to be safe too. We need a qualified leisure assistant, preferably to level 2 or 3 in gym-related activities, with a passion for gym-related activities. You will have outstanding people skills and will support the team to ensure the pool and gym are maintained to a high standard and related activities continue to run smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be the go-to person at the poolside and gym.
- You will look after everyone’s safety, keep the whole area clean and hygienic, and make sure that we’re meeting our legal requirements.
- As a leisure assistant, you will be responsible for the daily operational duties and performance of the gym and pool related activities.
- You will be incredibly friendly, answering guests’ questions and making sure that everyone is having a great time.
- Holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on weekends and bank holidays too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:
- Previous experience and a passion for working in a gym or pool.
- Gym related qualification to a level 2 or higher (or working towards).
- Fantastic interpersonal skills – you’ll need to be assertive as well as friendly.
- To be naturally vigilant and helpful - guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs as well as their safety.

- A valid NPNQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification).
