What we need in a nutshell
We love creating exciting dining concepts across our locations and finding talented chefs to take them forward. In this Kitchen Team Leader role, you will be preparing and cooking for a busy restaurant and helping to manage a team of Line Chefs, Kitchen Assistants, and Kitchen Porters.

What you’ll be doing
- You will be in the thick of the action with your team, ensuring that meals are prepped, cooked, and served to our exacting standards, to deliver delight to our guests.
- Supporting the kitchen management team in overseeing all aspects of the Back of House (BOH) operation and being the main point of contact on shift.
- Preparing and cooking meals with the assistance of Line Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, ensuring the team complies with the agreed specifications of all dishes.
- Helping to control food margins through effective stock management.
- Championing and implementing health and safety and hygiene policies to ensure team and guest safety.
- Identifying the development needs of team members and providing coaching and support.
- Holidays happen at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.
Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need
- We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a real passion for food, who can demonstrate the following:
- At least Level Two Hygiene Certificate.
- Experience working as a chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
- Experience of stock control and ordering.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- An eye for detail and ability to think on your feet.
- Resilience under pressure.
- It’s the icing on the cake if you have worked in a busy kitchen on a holiday park and have supervisory experience.
