Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

In this role, you will be based in our Finance department providing support to a busy purchase ledger team, processing invoices and payments and responding to queries.

What you’ll be doing

You will support the purchase ledger team, processing invoices, liaising with internal departments and suppliers and responding to queries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Responding to purchase ledger queries from parks and the central support teams
  • Liaising with suppliers and building good working relationships with them
  • Assisting with reporting queries
  • Supporting the Purchase Ledger Supervisor with compliance checks when onboarding new suppliers

You will also work on ad hoc projects which will allow you to develop your skills and learn more about the business.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

  • Three years’ experience in a similar role in a busy accounts department
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build strong working relationships, often remotely
  • A good eye for detail, and, of course, a whizz with numbers
  • It’s the icing on the cake if you are already AAT qualified but it’s not essential so do apply even if you don’t tick this additional box.
